Vogue American Designer 2135; ca. 1979; Oscar de La Renta - Misses' Tunic and Skirt or Dress. Loose-fitting, pullover tunic or dress, three-quarter length or four inches below mid-knee length has slightly extended shoulders, one-piece self-faced back yoke with slightly forward shoulder seams, V-neckline extending into front mock band with buttoned fly closing, welt pocket with buttoned flap, side back seams (no side seams) and narrow hem. Back is pleated above waistline into back yoke. Two-piece effect sleeves are tucked into buttoned cuffs. Topstitching and edgestitching. Purchased belt holds in fullness at waistline of dress. Straight skirt, four inches below mid-knee has front and back gathered into waistband and side zipper closing. Edgestitching.
