Hollywood 1770; ca. late 1930s; Featuring Rosella Towne on the front cover "starred in 'The Adventures of Jane Arden', a Warner Bros. Production" (NOTE: Film was released in March 1939). Shorts, Blouse and Play-Skirt. Three-piece play suit. Tuck-in blouse, pleated skirt and shorts. Skirt may be regulation length or very short and is finished on a wide belt with suspender top. The blouse is gathered, front and back, below a shoulder yoke and buttons high to the collarless neck. Short sleeves, with gathers at top. Shorts are box-pleated at front and back and finished on inside belting.
