Hollywood 606; ca. 1940; Featuring Betty Grable of Paramount. One-piece dress in instep length or shorter. A deep shaped midsection joint the eight-gored skirt to the blouse in front and a tied belt conceals the joining in the back. Gathers are concentrated at the collarless neckline and at top of the midsection. Very short puff sleeves. Band trimming is optional.
