Madame Weigel's 1081; ca. 1940s; Sun bonnet and hat. Each of these smart little styles opens out flat for laundering. The crown of the hat is caught together at the four points, and the centre back of crown and brim are fastened with press studs on completion of work. The bonnet is fastened at each side with button and buttonhole or press studs, and the turn-back may be worn to shade the face if necessary.
