Madame Weigel's 6856; ca. 1940s; Lady's and maid's dress with long bodice. An easy to make dress featuring the new long bodice and pleated skirt. The pleats in skirt part turn to the right at right side and to the left at left side - forming a narrow box pleat in centre front and an inverted pleat in centre back. The sleeves may be long or short. Suitable materials are crease-resisting linens, cottons, silks and light-weight woollens.
