Madame Weigel's 6885; ca. 1940s; Lady's and maid's informal dinner or dance frock. Glamorous clothes need not be costly. Today there is a way to keep in step with style on a very moderate budget. Do your own dressmaking using this up-to-the-minute pattern. We suggest black crepe for the frock; with yoke and top of sleeves in net or marquisette; or black with pink crepe. It is also suitable for lightweight woollens, etc.
