Madame Weigel's 6963; published in Madame Weigel's Journal of Fashion September 1, 1945; Lady's and maid's jacket. Jackets gathered into a band are quite new. This neatly fitting style will be more useful for wearing with wool dresses, slacks or separate skirts. It has a convertible neck-line. Bishop sleeves are very becoming. Suitable materials are wool jersey, flannel, checked tweed, etc.
