Madame Weigel's 6965; published in Madame Weigel's Journal of Fashion September 1, 1945; Lady's and maid's house coat. An extremely smart house-coat, cut with wide revers, collar and cuffs. The skirt has a seam in centre back, doing away with side seams. Sleeves may be long or short. Suitable materials are flannel, wool-jersey, rayon-taffeta, silks, cottons, etc.
