Two-Material Style. The dress-pattern, No. 1937, is cut in sizes for 16 years and from 36 to 42 inches bust-measure. To make the dress in the 36-inch size will require 2 3/8 yards of 36-inch plain material, with 1.75 yards of 36-inch checked material. Pattern was 12 cents. A catalog showing all available styles was only 10 cents when accompanied with a pattern order or 12 cents without pattern order. This illustration is from a 1924 issue of NEEDLECRAFT MAGAZINE, Augusta, Maine. This 13"t x 10.5"w magazine includes directions for crochet, knitting & craft designs. Also offers tons of embroidery patterns for sale.
