Mauve; ©1984; Smocked Kimono. The smocked kimono features traditional Kimono styling with smocked sleeves for an unusual touch.  The Kimono is cinched in at the waist  with a double wrap sash.  It can be made up in 3 different lengths: blouse, tunic or full length. Tunic and full length Kimonos have pockets in the side seams.  The blouse length Kimono is terrific belted over either a full circle skirt or a very straight skirt.   The tunic length Kimono looks great over evening pants or as an evening jacket.  The full length Kimono is perfect for loungewear and hostessing.
