McCall's New York Designers' Collection Plus N/ 1062;  ©1968;  Donald Brooks - Misses Dress in Two Versions.  Dress has high cut armholes and gathered skirt, seamed at normal waistline, to gathered bodice. Skirt and bodice have side, cut in one with backs, seamed to fronts forward of normal side seam. Dress is lined and pockets, of lining fabric, are included in skirt front seams. Bodice back opening is closed with self fabric loops, included in right back facing seam, closed over buttons sewn on left back. Skirt back opening is closed with zipper. Neck, armholes and bodice back opening edges are interfaced inside belt, of grosgrain ribbon, is tacked to lining at waistline and closed in back with hook and eye. Dress may be worn with bias cowl, pleated and seamed in back, and tacked to dress bodice. Cowl is closed in back with self fabric loops included in right seam and closed over buttons sew on left side. Either dress is work interfaced, buckled, self fabric belt.
