Mc CALL'S 1670 image

This a McCall’s 1670 vintage pattern Kaumagraph transfer which is to be stamped on medium and heavy-weight cardboard. The heavy-weight cardboard is used for the base of the merry-go-round. The medium-weight cardboard is used to make the roof, column, and stencil cut-outs for the column sections, camel, horse, lion, pony, elephant and reindeer. The animals are to be made from the ginger cookie dough.

When cookie dough has been baked and is cool and hard, it is covered with white icing and decorated with crushed hard candies, etc., as directed in the leaflet instructions. Eight candy canes, inserted in the holes in the sugar coated cardboard roof, for the supports for the animals. The cardboard base is covered with a tight circle of marshmallows.

The enclosed leaflet gives the recipe for the ginger cookie dough and for the vanilla cookie dough, material and equipment required, 12 photographic steps and complete directions for making the merry-go-round.

The animals are about 4-3/4” wide and make a delightful stencil for extra holiday cookies. The children will love them!

This McCall’s 1670 vintage pattern Kaumagraph transfer is a 1951 copyright and contains the 1 transfer piece along with the direction leaflet
