McCall's 2489; ©1970; "Quickie" Layette. Edges of garments are either bound or finished with bias tape. Excepting Shirt A, Rompers B and Sleeper Pants D, they are each cut in one piece. Nightgown E has zippered front opening. Closings on other garments are fastened with hammer-on type snaps. Diaper tapes are sewn inside Shirt A and Sleeper Top D. Robe F is unlined. Diaper Cover C is lined with plastic. Bibs G and H have optional plastic lining. For Receiving Blanket the edges of a 36" square piece of fabric are bound with blanket binding.
