McCall's 5985; ©1961; Girls' Dress in Three Versions. Shirtwaist dress, with four-gore gathered skirt, in three versions. Short set-in sleeves turned back to form cuffs. Longer sleeves, on straight grain of fabric, gathered into buttoned bands. Bias sleeves have elastic in casings forming ruffles. Choice of contrasting neckband, with or without shirt collar, or Puritan collar. Tie belt or purchased belt. Left side zipper placket.
