McCall's 7297; ©1980; Children's Vest, Shirt and Pants: Lined, buttoned vest with forward shoulder seams has patch pockets. Buttoned shirt has forward shoulder seams, collar with band (cut in one) and patch pocket. Shirt A has long sleeves pleated into buttoned cuffs and optional ribbon tie; short sleeves B have tuck forming simulated cuff. Pants have inser pockets, front zipper, front waistbands, elastic in back casing and blet carriers. Purchased belt.

Suggested fabrics: Vest & Pants – wool, wool blends, cotton, chino, soft denim, double knits, pinwale corduroy, poplin, flannel. Shirt – cotton, cotton blends, chambray, oxford cloth. Vest, Shirt & Pants – suitable for small stripes or plaids. Additional notions required: thread. Vest – three ½” buttons. Shirt A – size 3/8” buttons, 1 yd. of 1” wide ribbon. Shirt B – four 3/8” buttons. Pants – 7” zipper, one waistband hook and eye, 3/8yd of 1” wide elastic, purchased belt, optional seam binding
