McCall's 7589; ©1964; Felt Togs for Troll Dolls. Printed patterns to fit Small 3" and Large 6" Troll Dolls are given to make eight costumes, two extra hats and a crown. Felt is used, except for the bridal veil and tutu skirt, which are made of nylon net. Optional: Fabric such as cotton print or velveteen may be used in place of felt if it is backed with white iron-on fabric to prevent fraying. Trim with sequins, pearls and seed beads, bits of yarn, lace, a pompon (from ball fringe) and an artificial daisy. All are quick and easy enough for an eight-year-old to make.
