McCall's New York Designers' Collection Plus 1 8397; ©1966; Laird-Knox - Misses' Suit and Overblouse. Open front jacket with front yoke, five section skirt with pockets of lining fabric in front seams, and drop shoulder overblouse. Below-elbow length sleeves of jacket are cut in one with front yokes and jacket back, and side sections of jacket extend into sleeve gussets. Jacket is underlined and lined and welt pockets are made of lining fabric. Lined skirt has side front gathers, back darts, left side zipper. Side sections of lined overblouse form panel seaming at back and front, front seam has opening at neck and lower edge and blouse has V-neck and zipper at back. Contrast bias bow may be tacked to blouse front. Jacket and blouse are trimmed with machine stitching and interfacing is used where necessary.
