McCalls 8424 1966 One piece dress, or tunic and skirt with box pleated lower section. Three section dress or tunic has long set in sleeves gathered into buttoned bands. French darts at front, vertical darts and zipper at back. Neck is faced and interfaced and sleevebands are interfaced, patch pockets are lined and trimmed with buttons. Dress or tunic may be underlined and worn with low placed belt. Dress has vent in back seam. Upper section of skirt is made of lining fabric, is dart fitted, has faced top and left side zipper. Lower skirt consists of four sections. When lengthwise striped knits are used, sleevebands and lower skirt are cut crosswise.
