McCall's 8454; ©1966; Misses' Dress in Two Versions. Two section, front buttoned dress, with rounded vents in side seams, may be underlined. Dress front is gathered at upper edge and sewn to forward shoulders of back dress forming yokes. Buttoned bands are sewn to front opening and collar is included in neck facing seam. Interfaced collar and front bands and shoulder seams are trimmed with machine stitching. Dress may have long set-in sleeves gathered into bands or short set-in sleeves turned back to form cuffs. Short sleeved dress may be worn with purchased belt or interfaced self fabric belt, held by thread carriers.
