Dress to make in two views with varying contrasting fabrics.. it consists of one skirt piece and one bodice piece .

Note that this pattern number is 9393A. This means it was featured on a promo display, probably tied in with a McCall's magazine promotion, so the store initially got in double (sometimes triple) inventory, expecting that the store would go through a lot of patterns and needing to have inventory ready. A notes that it was part of a promotion, likely from the magazine, and once the stores sold out of it, it would not be reordered.

The inventory for the displays were always labelled "A" for a single pattern display, or "P" for a multi pattern promo display (those were often done at Halloween for costumes), and when a customer bought a pattern with a promo letter, that pattern was not reordered. But when a customer bought from regular stock, the pattern was reordered to keep the drawers full.
