McCall's 9497; ©1968; Misses' and Junnior Blouse and Skirt with Transfer for Smocking. Blouse with center back zipper and long set-in sleeves, and two section skirt gathered into lined front and back midriff. Blouse, with bias rolled collar included in neck facing seam, has sleeves gathered into snapped bands. Collar and cuffs are interfaced. Other blouse has smocked neckband and sleevebands included in neck and sleeve facing seams. Skirt has left side zipper and faced straps may be included in midriff lining seam. Midriff may be plain and interfaced or smocked. Purchased appliqués are applied on View B skirt and blouse. Transfer and instructions for smocking are included in pattern.
