McCall's 9539; ©1968; Child's Dress in Three Versions. Three section dress, with long or short set-in sleeves, has center back zipper and faced neck. Dress has front fitted by tucks stitched to about 2 1/2" above waistline, tucks are unpressed below stitching. Self fabric tie belts, included in side seams above waistline, are held by fabric carriers sewn over back darts. Dress, with long sleeves gathered and bound with bias self fabric at wrists, has band collar included in neck seam and lower edge of dress novelty trimmed. Short puffed sleeves, gathered in armholes, are gathered and bound with bias self fabric at lower edges. Dress may have novelty edging included in neck seam and sewn under sleeve binding, or band collar, of contrasting fabric, included in neck seam.
