McCall's 9700; ©1969; Junior Petite Dress in Three Versions and Vest. Dress, with or without long set-in sleeves, has center back zipper and vest with shaped fronts. Bodice, dart fitted in back and gathered in front, and gathered skirt are sewn to midriff. Long sleeves are gathered at wrists by elastic in casing; sleeveless armholes are faced. Neck is faced and two-piece faced collar may be included in neck facing seam. Neck and collar are interfaced. Sleeveless dress may have contrast collar trimmed with scalloped edging and stitch trimmed midriff, or novelty trim sewn on bodice front, neck and midriff. Lined, dart fitted vest, worn over sleeved dress, has scooped neck and hooked front closing.
