(c) 1965. Three section, sleeveless dress has inverted pleat at front, center back zipper and choice of three trimmings. Pleat edges are seamed from neck to slightly below waistline and seam is trimmed with buttons when front band is not used. Bias gathered ruffles of contrast fabric may be included in neck and armhole facing seams. Dress may have faced patch pockets included in side seams and trimmed with bias gathered ruffles of contrast fabric, and bias gathered ruffle of contrast fabric included in bias neck binding of ruffle fabric. Third version has front band, with bias gathered ruffle of contrasting fabric, sewn to dress front and trimmed with buttons. Mother's matching pattern is McCall's 8129
