McCall 1078; ca. 1943; Printed Pattern for Cuddly Toys.  Here are eight adorable pets, with wistful little faces that appeal to tiny toddlers.  Make them in gay calico or cotton scraps and embroider them.  The tails are bias tape, and the bodies are two-piece, simple to stitch up.  It's easy to stuff them with cotton.  The cunning giraffe is about 10" high, and the other animals vary from 7.5" to 8".  There are complete directions in the pattern for making and stuffing the animals.
