Mc1244

McCall 1244; ca. 1946; At the top of the fashion parade of frocks, designed for young Miss-Six-to-Ten, is a dear little dress for a 6-year old. It would be quaint made of striped cotton, with embroidered white yoke. Its cap sleeves, disarming high neck, with tiny separate bow, should capture the heart of any litte girl. Her older sister keeps cool in another version of plain color cotton with effective matching outline- & satin-stitch on a contrast yoke, extended shoulder forms a cap sleeve. Sizes 6, 8, 10, 12. Blue or yellow transfer.

Illustration & description are from the Summer 1946 issue of McCALL NEEDLEWORK magazine.
