This exquisite, sheer refreshment cloth, worked in delicate "shadow-stitch" embroidery, is definitely in the specialty-shop class. Work "shadow" embroidery in simple criss-cross stitches on the wrong side of sheer material. Design shows up on the right side. Deep pink and white, or blue and white flowers, white fan, are smart on a pastel pink or blue cloth. "Shadow" embroider matching napkins! Work the fan on a sheer apron! Pattern and directions for apron included. Motifs may be used on a 39, 44, or 54 inch cloth. Actual size of detail of rose motif shown. Use six-strand cotton. 2 fan motifs, 28 roses; 4 pair large, 4 pair medium, 6 pair small.
