McCall 1440; ca. 1949; The "Action" dress, it's fun to wear!  Roomy front box pleats, exciting puppy-and-the-kitty embroidery!  Make with contrast yoke, pockets, or plain  Printed Pattern for Toddler's Dress with Blue Transfer for Embroidery.  Toddlers will go all out for this colorful "action" dress!  Deep front pleats wil accomodate sudden sittings-down.. side-shirring gives extra fullness.  There's suspenseful action to keep toddlers gleeful, in the trim - three puppies, looking over a fence at a bristling kitty!  Put a puppy on each pocket.  Sister will look crisp and fresh if her dress is made in deep blue or clear pink cotton, with white yoke, pockets, embroidered in red, blue.  Or- have her enchanting in an all-yellow dress worked in brown, green!  Outline stitch.  Sizes 1 - 3.
