Mccall 1441

McCall 1441; ca. 1949; Transfer Design for Owl & Pussy-Cat Motifs.  Blue.  The famous Owl and the Pussy-Cat, going to sea in their beautiful pea-green boat, right across the crib quilt, should make your toddler's Slumberland take-off speedy as well as pleasant!  You may use a design on a crib cover, as illustrated, or spread motifs apart, use to trim a bedspread.  Work a turkey on one panel, a pert pig on another panel of matching curtains!  Easy stitches.  Use six-strand embroidery cotton.  1 large motif, and 1 each of 5 small motifs for quilt or bedspread: tree, turkey, bag of money, jar of honey, pig  2 each of turkey and pig motifs for curtains.  The Owl and the Pussy-Cat go sailing on Baby's quilt!  Put the turkey, the pig on curtains, embroider in gay nursery colors!
