This illustration is from the Spring-Summer 1950 issue of MCCALL NEEDLEWORK magazine. Description from the magazine: Mr. & Mrs. Barbecue Aprons are so barbecute! Dachshunds, "hot dogs," pig, chef are appliques. Use unbleached muslin, denim, bias tape binding. Make a sporty chef's hat. Mitts, quilted with sheet cotton. One size. Pattern, blue transfer. 35 cents.
