McCall 269; ©1935; Smocked Nightgown. Smocking gives a lovely style to this very flattering nightgown. It encircles the neck, charmingly, and forms the front waistline. The fulness may be pressed into a fine pleated effect if desired. On a long sleeved style, smocking can smartly gather the sleeve fulness at the wrist. Complete smocking directions are included in the pattern.
