The Modern Pattern 4010; ca. 1930s;  One-piece dress with cowled front neckline that is adorned on the left shoulder with a large decorative bow.  Dress has very short kimono sleeves or unique puff sleeves that end in cuff bands just above elbows.  The Empire waistline is modified to rise at center front into an arch with upper bodice sections gathering softly below bustline.  Back of bodice is unique with button closure at center back down to empire waistline seam.  Skirt is long and flared.
