New York Gold Seal 1712; 1940s; Pinafore Apron or Back-Closing Dress. Pinafore with attached shoulder straps. Tie sash attached to each side of front. Attached three-piece gathered skirt, patch pockets at front. Long-waisted dress with square neck, with or without gathered ruffles, button or zipper closing at back. Attached three-piece skirt with seam at center-back. Width at lower edge of pinafore, size 16, 2 1/4 yards.
