Pictorial Review 4263; ca. 1920s; Girls' Bloomer Frock, Including Special Transfer Design for Smocking: A dainty touch is given in this frock by smocking on the shoulders in front. Further fulness is provided by plaits in front below the vestee, which is cut down and closed with the collar. Long, one-piece sleeves, gathered to straight bands, or short sleeves with turn-back cuffs may be used. Elastic is inserted through the hems at upper and lower edges of the bloomers. 10 pattern pieces plus transfer.
