Pictorial Review; ca. 1931; WOMEN’S, MISSES’ AND JUNIORS’ FROCK. This demure sleeveless model sounds a new Paris note with its square décolletage accented by a crisply flaring capelet. The petky circular ruffle applied in peplum effect and the long full skirt join the fitted hip-yoke in a curved line that is freshly youthful and flattering. Part of an ad found in a Pictorial Review pattern envelope that is dated 1925. The ad is printed on pattern tissue paper & measures about 13 x 40 inches. This pattern is listed under the heading FLOWER LIKE FROCKS FOR THE SUNSET HOURS.
