Pictorial Review 5918; ca. 1931; Adapted from Tollmann - Little Women's Frock.  From its twisted shoulder straps to its floor-length skirt, this gown is as regal as can be. The shaped décolletage, the beautifully manipulated pointed seams and the fullness at center, front and back, all give height.

"5918. Little Women. If you’re short, choose a molded gown, of course. But choose one with pointed seams, a molded bodice and twisted shoulder straps, and see how much taller you’ll appear" (as stated in Pictorial Review magazine, January 1932
