Pictorial Review 6108; 1930s; WOMEN’S AND MISSES’ FROCK WITH CAPE. Mainbocher added clever bows to this costume when he designed it. The separate cape is worn over a frock having epaulet-extensions and a smart skirt, box-pleated in front and with a pointed insert at back. Epaulet-extensions may be cut away when long sleeves are used. Width, size 16, about 2 yards.
