Pictorial Printed Pattern 7263

Pictorial Review 7263; ca. 1934; Women's and Misses' Frock. A classic bridal gown with truly Parisian lines, but the variation possible in the design makes it applicable to other purposes. The cascading draperies and the train may be omitted, and there are two separate designs for the bodice - one with Medici collar, drop-shoulder yoke and long sleeves...the other cut in one with short puff sleeves.

Featured in Pictorial Review from July 1934. Following description from that page:

For that golden moment, we have in mind as glamorous a gown as ever floated down the aisle to the strains of Lohengrin. Eyes right, please.

Choose dull, dead white sheer crepe for its supple, high-waisted lines and cascading draperies which merge with a sweeping train. The yoke and picturesque medieval collar should be rose point, Alencon or lovely Duchesse lace. A froth of tulle for the veil, with a diadem of matching lace, dull crepe slippers, a bouquet of African daisies, and there you are...The sort of bride you've always longed to be."
