PM A245

Prominent Designer M245; ca. 1954; Misses' Dress and Bolero. By Esther Reifer.

“Here it is, The Silhouette of Summer! Here it is – just a few weeks after its preview showing in the Esther Reifer Summer collection. Current as the news on the front page is the Empire bodice – slick as wallpaper waist – great, wide, whirling skirt. Because every woman yearns to be a fashion trend-setter, we suggest you sew this now, have it ready to wear the first warm day of Summer. Mrs Reifer made her original in a silky cotton, navy and white print.” (as stated in The Brooklyn Daily Eagle, March 28th, 1954)
