PDM339

Prominent Designer M339; postmarked 1963; Alice Schweitzer - Misses' Dress

From newspaper clipping: "A Supple Sheath It's bare-back news - a criss-cross wrap - that turns this supple sheath inta an exciting summer fashion. Make it casual or play up its drama via yoru fabric choice - for instance, hot orange linen or pale blue crepe, black pique of silk surah scroll design. Printed Pattern M339 by Alice Schweitzer is basically simple with few pattern parts. Note how ties come front the side to sash the waist casually in front. The slight fabric extention suggest the flattery of sleeves above a smart square armhole."
