Sew-Rite Mail Order 8285; ca. late 1940s;  Striking Shirtwaist Style. A striking tailored dress for juniors.  Its lines are neat and simple, carefully designed  so that you'll enjoy sewing it in lickety-split time!  Done shirtwaist style, shoulder yokes are important, cap sleeves crisp and cool, the notched collar very smart.  The flared skirt has four panels and a wonderful swirling hemline.
