Simplicity 1040

Simplicity 1040; ©1944; Misses' and Women's Dress: The slimly fitted bodice buttons down the front. The skirt is softly gathered in front and seamed down the the center back. Style I features a notch collar and three-quarter sleeves. A flower may be worn at the waist. Style II has a low, round neckline finished with a contrast collar and bow. The collar may be detachable and the sleeves are short.
