Simplicity 1218; ©1944; Misses' and Women's Smock and House Dress: The slim, princess smock and house dress have a button-front closing and angular pockets. The smock has long sleeves gathered at the armhole and wrist and finished with a wrist band. An interesting pocket effect is achieved when striped fabric is used, by seaming pockets down center. The smock may be long or short. Rick-rack outlines the sleeves, upper pocket edges, and applied band on square neckline of house dress. The sleeves are short.

This appears to be the unprinted (pre-cut and perforated) version of Simplicity 2161.
