Simplicity 1254; ca. 1945; Misses' and Women's Bolero, Skirt and Blouse. The slim wrap-around skirt is joined to a waist band. The button-back blouse has a bias-bound neck edge and is finished with waistline tucks. Gathers at blouse neck create soft front fullness. The sleeves may be long or short. In Style I, a soft bow trims the skirt. The long-sleeved bolero is always lined. In Style II, contrasting binding trims the three-quarter sleeves and bolero edges. Lining is optional. The blouse is trimmed with a pert bow at the neck.
