S1270

Simplicity 1270; ©1944; Misses' and Women's One-Piece Dress: A "Mother and Daughter Fashion". For "Daughter", see Simplicity 2061 and Simplicity 1269. The bodice is styled with a low, rounded neckline and the skirt is gathered at upper edge. In Style I, a ribbon drawn through casing at neckline ties in a bow in front and the short puffed sleeves are trimmed with bows. A wide ruffle finishes the lower edge of the skirt. Style II is gathered at front neckline and finished with bias binding. There is a ruffle of embroidered fabric or edging at armhole.
