Simplicity 1397;  ©1945; Child's One-Piece Dress:  The back-buttoning bodice is styled with a shaped seam and short pulled sleeves.  The skirt is gathered all around and tie ends at side seams fasten into a bow at the center back.  In Styles I and III, contrasting fabric is used for scalloped sections of bodice and skirt.  A Peter Pan collar or lace edging may be used to trim neck.  Rick rack outlines shaped bodice seam and matching rick rack trims skirt in Style II.
