Simplicity 1427; ©1945; Misses' and Women's One-Piece Dress. There are soft pleats at the lower bodice edge, gathers at the upper skirt edge and the dress is finished with a front-button closing to the hip. The skirt, seamed down the center front and back, has pockets at the side seams. In Style I, the collar, bodice front and upper skirt section are made of contrasting fabric. The sleeves are three-quarter length. Style II has a tie collar and short sleeves.
