Simplicity 1581; ca. 1946; Teen-Age One-Piece Dress: The bodice is softly gathered at the lower edge and the dirndl skirt has pockets in the side seams. There is a front-button closing to the hip from which a pleat is released. Style I has a shaped neckline and cap sleeves with a slightly lowered armhole. In Style II, contrast is used for the Chinese collar and cuffs. The sleeves are three-quarter length and a purchased belt is used.
