Simplicity 1639; ©1946; Misses' and Women's Housecoat: The dart-fitted bodice has extended shoulders and gathers at the shoulder seams. The dirndl skirt has a simulated fly and side pockets. A tie-belt is stitched to the bodice and fastens into a center front bow. In Style I, bows trim the shoulders. In Style II, the shoulder seam is only partly gathered and contrasting cuffs trim the armhole edges.
