Simplicity 1711; ©1946; Women’s One-Piece Dress: The front button bodice is classically tailored, flaunting soft gathers at the front shoulders and the back and front waistline. The eight section skirt is made with side front panels. In Style I, a classic collar is used and the purchased belt slips through tabs, buttoned to the skirt. The long full sleeve is caught to a buttoned wristband. Top stitching is strategically placed on the collar, button closing and wrist. In Style II the sleeves are short and the neckline is shaped. A self fabric belt is used and topstitching trims the button closing and sleeve edge.
